Dave Thomason, President
| David Thomason has served as the Director of the Kansas
WIC program for nine years. Prior to that Dave worked for
nine years as a fiscal officer in the Kansas Medicaid Program.
He has a Masters degree in Public Administration from the
University of Kansas in Lawrence.
Dave has served on several of the Association’s committees
including by-laws, funding and awards. He has also represented
the Mountain Plains Region in the State Agency Section.
Dave and his wife, Laura, who is a Special Education Teacher,
live in Topeka, Kansas and both enjoy camping and traveling.
They have a 22 year old daughter who is a senior at Brigham
Young University -Idaho.

A. Greenaway,
Executive
Director
Since 1985, Fr. Greenaway has served as an advocate and
government affairs specialist. As Executive Director of the
National WIC Association (NWA) for 17 years, Doug is responsible
for directing the Association as well as representing the
interests of its members - the 50 states, 38 Indian Nations,
and Trust Territories, 2100 local agencies, and 10,000 clinics
who operate the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for
Women, Infants and Children - before Congress, USDA and the
White House.
