PHFE WIC is seeking a full-time Research Analyst to support the First 5 LA funded Data Mining Research Partnership, a project that utilizes Los Angeles County WIC data to understand trends in WIC participation and health outcomes of women and children served by the program. The Research Analyst conducts research, evaluation and quality assurance activities, completes IRB applications, writes progress reports, briefs, manuscripts and grant proposals and supports the evaluation needs of all program staff. The position requires strong writing skills, data management and analysis skills, and excellent interpersonal skills to work well with a diverse team. The candidate must have an active working knowledge of a statistical program, be able to conduct statistical analyses, and must be able to articulate ideas well in writing. Knowledge of the WIC Program is highly desirable. The candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as cooperatively and successfully in a team setting.
