Tulare County HHSA WIC (Visalia, CA)

The Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA) is currently recruiting for a qualified Dietitian I/II to join the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in the Public Health Branch. WIC is designed to help pregnant women, new mothers, and young children eat well and stay healthy. It provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health care and social services.
WIC is a federally funded program, contracted through the State and administered by the County. The WIC program serves nine locations throughout county, with an administrative office in Visalia. The program serves almost 15,000 families, with over 21,000 enrolled participants. Clinic sizes vary from 500 to 5,000 participants, and staffing varies accordingly.
