This position is responsible for professional work within the Local Operations Unit of the Bureau of WIC Program Services. Responsibilities include monitoring local WIC agencies through on‑site and desk reviews, analyzing program data, and preparing comprehensive written reports. The role also provides extensive technical assistance and training to local agencies, supports corrective action planning, and evaluates agency compliance through ongoing reviews. The position develops and updates policies, procedures, training materials, and program documentation to ensure alignment with federal and state requirements. It requires interpreting complex laws and rules, contributing to operational problem-solving teams, and maintaining consistent communication standards across materials.
