Coordinates, develops, and manages high risk participant care plans. Assists clinic supervisor and Regional Nutrition Manager in coordination and conducting management evaluations for Parish Health Unit WIC sites. Completes nutrition assessments for WIC participants, develops nutrition care plans, assesses participant eligibility, prescribes required food packages, reviews & evaluate medical formula prescriptions for approval and monitors and orders inventory of WIC special formula. Participates in breastfeeding promotions, community outreach and other WIC-sponsored activities throughout the year. Other duties as assigned.
