What will I be doing in this job?
− Managing and leading employees
− Providing assistance and guidance on vendor monitoring, management evaluations, covert/overt investigations, review reports for accuracy, document performance, etc.
− Planning, developing and implementing a comprehensive Program Integrity (PI) Plan to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and requirements in all federal functional areas
− Ensuring accountability and internal controls for vendors, participants, and staff
− Oversight will include ensuring the development, revision and submission of the annual WIC State Plan and program policies and procedures to ensure PI principles and best practices
− Receiving complaints, researching and responding timely to charge claims
− Managing the technical infrastructure, training, technical assistance and troubleshooting for a call center and complaint reporting application
− Supervising and evaluating the effectiveness of the biannual WIC management evaluations of LAs; Certification; nutrition education; participant services; civil rights compliance; accountability; financial management systems; and food delivery systems
− Conducting investigations: conduct interviews, analyses evidence, write investigative reports, consult with assigned Attorney General as needed, etc.
− Developing and implementing vendor monitoring activities such as compliance buys, vendor site reviews, inventory audits, and data surveillance
− Ensuring subordinates timely plan and participate in all administrative appeal processes
− Utilizing the data warehouse in HANDS, WIC Direct (i.e. data visualization and reporting features) and Data Direct to increase monitoring efforts available with an electronic benefit transfer (EBT) platform
− Utilizing business intelligence tools to develop simple query and reporting, fiscal reports, statistical analysis, complex multidimensional analysis, and data mining
