Supervises, plans, organizes, and monitors, all activities and work performance of the nutrition staff for the WIC Program (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children) in the Mid County WIC Office of the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County. Evaluates work performance of staff and uses performance counseling to plan for improved work performance. Assures staff adheres to Federal, Department of Health, and Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Plans and coordinates workloads, schedules, and clinic flow for efficient and effective WIC services to clients in the Mid County Office. Provides training to staff as needed. Assists supervisor in the implementation of county, state and federal WIC rules, regulations, policies, and procedures for administrative activities and client services. Maintains productivity standards for nutrition education and counseling. Monitors staff productivity using systems such as FL-Wise, eProgress and other programs developed by the local agency WIC program.
