The Senior Health Educator is responsible for providing advanced breastfeeding services with the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program as required. The successful applicant will perform assessments for breastfeeding mothers and babies as the Designated Breastfeeding Expert. This employee is also responsible for issuing and educating clients on breastfeeding aids to improve their breastfeeding experience. This employee assists the Breastfeeding Coordinator with providing staff training, implementing breastfeeding activities, and attending community events. This employee provides direct services under the direction and supervision of the Senior Public Health Nutrition Supervisor.
