This position supports the mission and goals of WIC in Pasco County by providing nutrition services to prenatal, postpartum, breastfeeding women, infants, and children from birth to five years of age. The duties include conducting nutritional assessments, providing individualized and evidence-based nutrition counseling and education, developing care plans and goal setting, promoting and supporting breastfeeding, providing referrals, and promoting WIC through participation in community outreach. The incumbent is required to have a current/active license, in good standing, as a Dietitian or Nutritionist in the State of Florida.
