Utilizes knowledge of WIC program policies and procedures
Utilizes knowledge of NVHC policy and procedures, HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies in performing all duties at the clinic while ensuring compliance
Utilizes resources as needed to meet needs of the organization and participant
Monitoring participant contact documentation, including random quality assurance checks with participants
Reads assigned books and materials on breastfeeding that are provided by the State WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator or WIC Manager/Director
Assist WIC staff in promoting breastfeeding through special projects and duties as assigned
Providing breastfeeding education to WIC participants and staff with various levels of education
Use WIC records system to obtain information needed on specific individuals
Attends and assists in community outreach events
Attends training seminars, conferences, and meetings as assigned by WIC Director/Manager and/or State WIC program to maintain knowledge of current trends and developments in job related skills
Constantly alert for ways to improve customer service, increase productivity, improve utilization of resources, and communicating ideas to supervisor
Courteous, respectful, and creates a safe clean environment for participants and staff
