(Starting Pay at $28.70 /hr) Under general supervision, this position directs client counseling in multiple community and clinical settings, focusing on the client’s physical and emotional needs in order to develop positive nutritional habits. Performs other duties as required. This position is supervised by the WIC Team Leader. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (A) Graduation from an accredited college or university in dietetics or nutrition. *Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). *Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in the State of Kansas. (B) Pending graduation from an accredited college or university in dietetics or nutrition before the date of hire. *Required to become a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and be licensed in the State of Kansas within six (6) months of employment. *Valid Kansas Driver’s License and able to operate County-owned vehicle (HR-2013-2).
