Responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition education services as part of the certification process. Provides counseling and develops a nutrition care plan based on the assessment of information obtained in the dietary interview in conjunction with information obtained from health histories, hematological measurements, and growth measurements. Prescribes food packages appropriate for the needs of the participant. Provides referrals to health and social services when appropriate.
