This position ensures that systematic, effective training of New Mexico Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program is provided to staff by addressing local agency staff performance issues, providing updates, and broadening staff knowledge of various topics related to public health, nutrition, and the NMSOL WIC MIS system. This position will deliver training to small and large groups, encouraging continuing education and the optimum utilization of all resources in order to serve participants in the most effective, efficient, and courteous manner. This position writes policies following USDA Food and Nutrition regulations and trains staff on implementing policies to ensure compliance of the federal WIC grant. This position also coordinates with the Clinic Operations Manager in resolving technical issues with the NMSOL MIS system.
