The purpose of this study was to determine whether viewing a documentary about three WIC families, followed by a group facilitated discussion, could alter perceptions of nutrition professionals about barriers and solutions to addressing the problem of obesity in low-income preschool children. The intervention was successful, resulting in a change in perceptions: Participants were able to identify more barriers and solutions after the intervention.
