Fowles ER, et al. The feasibility of personal digital assistants (PDAs) to collect dietary intake data in low-income pregnant women. J Nutr Educ Behav. Nov/Dec 2008;40(6):374-377.

The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of using personal digital assistant (PDA)-based technology for tracking and analyzing food intake in low-income pregnant women. The authors concluded that the PDA-based software might be an acceptable method for obtaining food records, to provide more accurate assessments of dietary intake in this vulnerable population.
