Congress is back in session. The House is expected to bring the Military Construction-VA and the Legislative Branch Appropriations Bills to the floor for debate and amendment this week.
Major controversial amendments are not anticipated to be offered and attached to these bills. The House Appropriations Committee is also scheduled to mark up the Commerce-Justice-Science bill this week. The Agriculture Appropriations Bill, which funds WIC, will likely be one of the next bills to work through the process.
The Senate is expected to bring their Military Construction-VA and Legislative Branch bills to the Senate floor in late May or early June.
