Meeting Info

NWA Board of Directors (BOD) meetings are typically held quarterly in May (Spring), July (Summer), October (Fall), and January (Winter). NWA is governed by a twenty-eight member Board of Directors comprised of State and Local Agency WIC Directors, State Nutrition Coordinators, a representative from the Indian & Native American WIC State Agencies, and six officers.

Winter 2017: Savannah, GA at the River Street, Inn

You may contact the hotel to make your room reservations effective today. All reservations must be confirmed by Monday, September 26th, 2016. Please reference National WIC Association Fall Board Meeting to get the negotiated room rate, which is the prevailing Federal Per Diem rate currently set at $209 per night, plus a nightly room tax of 16.4% single occupancy.

You may cancel your room reservations three (3) working days prior to your arrival date without penalty and a cancellation number provided. If reservations are cancelled within 3 working days prior to your arrival, your first night’s room deposit will not be refunded. Check-in time is at 4:00 PM and check-out time is at 12:00 Noon.

Access to the Hotel is available from the O'Hare International Airport (ORD) and is serviced by several major airlines within the US. Shuttle and taxi services are available from the airport. The visit ORD's web-site, click on the following URL:
