The National WIC Association (NWA), located in Washington, DC, seeks a full-time Finance, Accounting and Facilities Manager to join its diverse team of fourteen dedicated professionals.
The Association is a high-impact non-profit, member organization that represents more than 2,000 service provider agencies that offer quality nutrition education, breastfeeding support, health care and other social referral services to at-risk women and young children in over 10,000 WIC clinics nationwide.
The incumbent will manage Association accounting, finance, and bookkeeping functions for all cost-centers including membership, grants, conferences and products. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for managing NWA office facilities including IT and communications services, leases, contracts, insurance, licenses and consulting agreements.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and 5 years of relevant work experience. Experience tracking grant funding, using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Bills.com are desired. Excellent customer service and commitment to organizational equity, diversity and inclusion is required.
