The WIC program is a special supplemental nutrition program that focuses on providing health and nutrition education, breastfeeding support, health and diet screening, growth monitoring, referrals, resources, and food supplementation for low-income families in our community. Our focus is pregnant and postpartum individuals and children under the age of 5. We serve families from a vast array of diverse cultural, ethnic, and language backgrounds and abilities. Our program goal is to promote improved health outcomes, strengthen lifelong health and nutrition, and reduce disparities among the population we serve.
