Public Health - Seattle & King County is seeking a Nutritionist II (Lead Dietitian) to provide leadership and services at our Midway/Des Moines Public Health Center for the WIC team. This position will lead Nutrition Assistants and Registered Dietitians and collaborate on the Midway and Federal Way Public Health leadership team. WIC is for pregnant individuals, new and breast/chest-feeding parents, and children under age 5. WIC supports families and children through healthy foods, nutrition education, breast/chest-feeding support, and connections to additional resources and programs like First Steps (Maternity Support Services and Infant Case Management).
Midway clinic is a fast-paced site, co-located with our community partners, Healthpoint and Valley Cities. This position collaborates closely with the Federal Way RDII, working together as a team to serve the Midway and Federal Way WIC clients. Midway has strong relationships with the Healthpoint team, sharing in celebrations and staffing events, as well as cross-referring the population we serve.
