You are a dedicated, passionate, and hard-working driven member of the community whose main focus is to ensure the WIC program meets state and federal requirements while ensuring the needs of our clients are met.

About the Position.

The WIC program aims to safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk. WIC provides nutritious foods to supplement diets, information o healthy eating, and referrals to healthcare. You will continually assess and monitor the caseload levels, assure compliance, and oversee schedules and staffing for our clinics. You will be the voice of the program for SRHD programs and partners, through presentations and speaking engagements, and will continue the open communication with the Washington State Department of Health WIC Program and other funders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s in nutrition, Health Education, Health Promotion, Community Health, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of relevant program experience in a supervisory capacity (leadership experience may be considered).
  • Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration or Washington State Certified Dietitian.
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
