The National WIC Association seeks a Media Communications Manager to oversee the Association’s media and member communications strategies. The incumbent will manage external communications including traditional and social media engagement, public relations, and advocacy campaigns. The incumbent will also represent the Association as media contact and facilitate the management of press releases, issue statements, opinion, podcasts, and online newsroom.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field and a minimum of three years of relevant work experience. A Master’s degree is preferred. The candidate will have excellent verbal and writing skills. Familiarity with graphic design skills a plus and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign desired. Ability to manage major organizational social media platforms a must.
