This position is located in the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Department within Operations of the Oklahoma City-County Health Department. The employee works under the supervision of the Administrator. The employee is responsible for providing nutrition education to clients through the preparation and presentation of formal classes or individual counseling and consultation. The employee will also be conducting nutrition assessments of clients, including anthropometric measurements, biochemical tests using standardized procedures, clinical or physical examination, dietary intake and a review of client economic, social and environmental factors. These various job duties and responsibilities may be performed for the main and satellite clinics.
